工房：色絵遊は霊峰白山の麓の工房で風の音や鳥のさえずりを聴きながら、こどものような柔軟な発想で日々モノづくりをしています。時には九谷焼の伝統美を強く意識しながら思わず手を伸ばしたくなるような、普段使いのうつわを中心に製作をしています。女性絵付け職人ならではの優しいタッチと色使いで心が和みます。

フリーカップは名の通り、寒い日にはお湯呑として、暑い日にはタンブラーとして冷たい飲み物を、そして仕事を頑張った日には自分へのご褒美にビアカップとしてお使いいただけます。また、ご結婚のお祝い品や記念日の贈り物におすすめします。

About Araki Urushi Pottery

Nanao suffered two major fires, in April 1895 and November 1905, and no records of the past remain. The only thing that remains is a boat chest containing lacquerware with the inscription "Kaei 7, February, Year of the Tiger, Shinjo Masahiro." Looking into the temple's past records, we find that the first Masanori of Ipponsugicho was called Atarashiya, not Araki, and his shop name was Shinmasa. It is said that he was a peddler of Wajima lacquerware from that time.
