山中塗の「伝」TSUTAEトールカップは、石川県の伝統工芸品である山中塗で作られた、手作りのカップです。使用されている材料は国産の天然木欅で、木のぬくもりを感じることができます。轆轤挽きにより、一つ一つ手作りされ、拭き漆で仕上げられています。

木製品は保温力にも優れていますので温かいものは温かく、冷たいものは冷たくお召し上がり頂けます。しっとりと落ち着いた色遣いは使い込むほど味わいを深めてまいります。素地の木目を極限にまで生かした塗となっていますので他の食器との相性が良く、テーブルコーディネートを気軽にお楽しみ頂けます。

About Araki Urushi Pottery

Nanao suffered two major fires, in April 1895 and November 1905, and no records of the past remain. The only thing that remains is a boat chest containing lacquerware with the inscription "Kaei 7, February, Year of the Tiger, Shinjo Masahiro." Looking into the temple's past records, we find that the first Masanori of Ipponsugicho was called Atarashiya, not Araki, and his shop name was Shinmasa. It is said that he was a peddler of Wajima lacquerware from that time.
