九谷焼らしい花鳥を描いたペアーマグカップです。持ち手が大きいため持ちやすく、マグカップとしては丁度いいサイズ感です。コーヒーカップとしては勿論ですが、飲み物を選ばずに使えるかたちは一年を通してお使いいただけます。

 

模様は、片方には白椿と小鳥が、もう片方には赤椿と小鳥が描かれています。ぜひ、二人だけの特別なペアカップとしてお使いください。

About Araki Urushi Pottery

Nanao suffered two major fires, in April 1895 and November 1905, and no records of the past remain. The only thing that remains is a boat chest containing lacquerware with the inscription "Kaei 7, February, Year of the Tiger, Shinjo Masahiro." Looking into the temple's past records, we find that the first Masanori of Ipponsugicho was called Atarashiya, not Araki, and his shop name was Shinmasa. It is said that he was a peddler of Wajima lacquerware from that time.
